Clinton M Iwanicha, Architect Inc. is an architecture company based in Morro Bay California, focused on the design and entitlements for custom residential and commercial projects. All aspects of project requirements are provided to clients from design, 3d modeling, agency coordination, construction documents and construction administration. Drawing on the vast in-house abilities and a diverse consultant affiliation, no project is too large or too small.
A brief history of the principal architect, Clinton M Iwanicha. Originally from Saskatchewan, Canada, Clinton’s early life was filled with wild animals, building snow forts and avoiding hockey. Looking for a warmer way of life, his family transplanted to the central valley of California, and there he began nurturing his artistic abilities in various avenues such as graphic art, playing bass and architectural drafting. Clinton’s passion for architectural design and building technology were further developed when he attended the School of Architecture at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Engineering in 1997. After approximately 3 years of employment by Taylor and Syfan consulting engineers, as a structural engineer, Clinton realized that his passion was not as an engineer and sought after the early intentions to become an architect and embrace the creative side of his person.
In the fall of 1998, Clinton had the fortunate opportunity to be hired by a new upstart firm located in San Luis Obispo called, garcia architecture and design, this began his mentoring process into the world of residential and commercial architecture. Soon after becoming licensed, as an architect in the state of California, he made the bold decision to venture out as an independent architect in the spring of 2007. Since this time, Clinton M Iwanicha, Architect has had the pleasure to be responsible for various commercial and residential projects ranging in location from Morro Bay, California to Oahu, Hawaii. Beyond the typical role as an architect, Clinton recently took on the task as a builder, constructing a personally designed custom residence in Nipomo, California.
